Diana Zelvin

Diana has been helping organizations with their development and fundraising needs since 2011. Recent projects are as Development Director for The Firehouse North Brooklyn Community Center where she led their capital campaign initiative to convert a shuttered firehouse in Brooklyn into a community and cultural center. Diana raised significant funds, galvanized robust community support, rebranded and built brand recognition, expanded the board, produced memorable events.

Prior to that, Diana spearheaded Brooklyn’s PS84 Greenhouse Rooftop Hydroponic Classroom project. Through public and private funding, she helped raise $2mil for its’ completion in 2016. Other non-profit clients that she is enjoys working with include Melting Pot Foundation and Bed-Sty Campaign Against Hunger.  

 

Diana’s social work roots led to 20 years in private practice as a psychotherapist, and her entrepreneurial leanings led to include work as a business coach.

Diana received a BFA from Syracuse University and holds a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. Diana is a board member and secretary of North Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
