Alex Mendelson is a lawyer with experience in nonprofit management. In 2022, he began a position as a federal judicial clerk after working as a litigation associate at a large law firm in New York. During law school, he worked with several local nonprofit organizations on formation and governance issues and in the Brooklyn Public Library’s in-house legal department. Prior to law school, he worked in the Development and Advancement departments of the Police Athletic League of New York City, a non-profit focused on K-12 educational and recreational after-school programming. He received his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law and an M.P.A. with a concentration in Not-for-Profit Management at Binghamton University and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
