Eva began her career in restaurants, working in positions ranging from management to bartending to pasta-making. After studying art and photography at Hampshire College, she obtained a Masters in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois and briefly worked in book conservation, before transitioning back into restaurants. Over the past couple of years, she’s become increasingly passionate about environmental issues and also food access. Right before starting at NY Sun Works as Executive Assistant, she managed an emergency COVID food pantry in Brooklyn for Met Council. In her spare time, she loves cooking, exercising, and reading fiction. Despite her numerous attempts at growing a garden, it always ends badly. She is very excited to be working as a part of this magnificent team and doing her part to put more plants in the city!
