Serena Kleeman

Serena joined NY Sun Works in August 2021 and is passionate about connecting others back to their food’s source. Born and raised in Connecticut, Serena moved to NYC in 2017 to study environmental science and food sustainability at NYU. She has spent years working in the food industry, from food service to volunteer work on farms. She also has experience in science education—in classroom settings, online, and in the field at the Hudson River Park. At NY Sun Works, she is excited she can partner with school communities to help grow food from inside their classrooms.
