Senior Hydroponic Specialist & Supply Storage Coordinator
Alvaro Gonzalez studied Agroecology at UC Santa Cruz (UCSC), and was fortunate to get experience working on the campus farm. In his last two years at UCSC, he ran Rachel Carson College Garden, one of the campus garden spaces, and hosted an internship program centered around food justice and sustainability. Here at NY Sun Works, he helps facilitate the integration of our curriculum and hydroponics equipment into the day-to-day routines of the Hydroponic Classrooms. In his free time, if he’s not scouring the city for new foods to try, he’ll be at any park with a nice view playing some footy.
