Julia Levine

Curriculum Specialist/Teacher Trainer

Born in New York City and raised in Westfield, New Jersey, Julia has a passion for making learning fun and interesting for students, supporting teachers and helping the world adapt to a more sustainable future. She graduated from Penn State University, with a major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a minor in English as a Second Language (K-12). At Penn State, she student-taught a third grade class as part of the Penn State College of Education’s Professional Development School and co-taught English as a second language at La Universidad Técnica Particular in Loja, Ecuador. For the past three years, she has taught at Westridge Elementary School in Woodbridge, Virginia – two years of third grade and one year of second grade. Julia is very excited to be a part of the NY Sun Works team to help make learning about sustainability interesting for students.
