Area Manager for Brooklyn
Spencer King has worked in many stages of the food system, from popsicle farms and school farms to kitchens, grocery stores, and composting operations. Seeing the injustices of our current food system pushed him to get his graduate degree in sustainable food systems. As a Grow Support Team area manager, he ensures that our Hydroponic Classrooms are running smoothly, providing technical support and guidance to our team and partner teachers. In his free time, Spencer can be found playing music, seeing concerts, running, reading, watching baseball, or relaxing in the park with his partner.
