VERTICAL FARM DAILY: NY Sun Works applauds approval of climate education in K-12 public schools

Earlier this week, the New York Board of Regents approved an amendment to section 100.2 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education requiring instruction in climate education for public schools students in grades K-12. Implementation of the new requirement will begin in the 2027-2028 school year and will be phased-in through multiple years.
