Caring for your new plant in a passive hydroponic mason jar system!
HOW IT WORKS:
A passive hydroponic system uses capillary action to deliver nutrients directly to a plant’s roots. The nutrient capsule sitting in your jar will dissolve and feed your plant for the next few months. The cotton wick will deliver the nutrient rich water to the seedling with the jar giving plenty of room for roots to grow.
Some tips:
- When you get home, fill up your mason jar halfway with water.
- As your plant grows, always make sure the end of the wick reaches the water.
- If you need to refill the water, don’t dump out the leftover water – that’s where the nutrients are! Just add water through the substrate.
- Place it on a nice sunny window and watch it grow!
