Overview: New teachers preparing for their first harvest and harvest veteran teachers alike are invited to join us to discuss all things harvest! We will discuss harvest lessons, crop calendars and data sheets, and share strategies for managing the excitement of the first harvest of the year!

Overview: Join us for our full day in person Election Day PD! One session will be for our first year Hydroponic Classroom teachers and the other session will be for teachers that have been working in our Hydroponic Classrooms for two or more years. In the morning, teachers will delve into our harvesting and community connection possibilities and in the afternoon teachers will engage in workshops with peer educators at choice stations. Come ready to learn with other partner teachers and bring back ideas, activities, and investigations for your own Hydroponic Classroom!

Overview: Wondering how to make learning more apparent in your Hydroponic Classroom? At these professional learning sessions, we will discuss strategies for highlighting student work and the process of making the classroom reflect the learning happening within it. We will base some of our work around project-based learning practices and gather inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach.

Overview: Do you have a group of students that can’t contain their excitement in the Hydroponic Classroom? Are you looking for ways to make harvest, experimentation, and other hands-on learning more manageable? Join us to discuss classroom management and other logistical issues within the Hydroponic Classroom. The education team and some of our partner teachers will share strategies to make your HC a more manageable space for all learners.

We’re excited to share that we will be offering our STEM Hydroponic Kits again this fall! If your school is interested in requesting STEM Kits for the 2024-2025 school year (they will be available for delivery starting in Fall 2024), please complete this form.
