On May 23, 2024, at the Javits Center 13th Annual Youth Conference, I had the privilege of interviewing Damali Wynter, Head Commissioner of the New York State Department of Agriculture. In our conversation, she shared her passion for her work and its profound impact on the community. When I asked her about her favorite part of the job, she spoke of her joy in helping people and inspiring children. Her words underscored the importance of agriculture and the need for more people to join this noble cause, making it clear that inspiring youth is a crucial part of this mission. 

In conclusion, interviewing Damili Wynter was an incredible experience, and I learned a lot from attending the Javits Center Youth Conference.
